Registered Care Manager

Smiling woman with blonde hair sitting indoors.

Lucy Lippett

Lucy is the Registered Care Manager at Staveley House.

Lucy began her career in health and social care at just 18 years old as an Apprentice Care Assistant at Staveley House, and over the past 13 years has shown dedication, resilience, and leadership, progressing through the roles of Senior Care Assistant and Assistant Manager to her current position.

Lucy says:

”In my role, I am responsible for ensuring the smooth running of Staveley House with the support of our dedicated staff. I am passionate about making sure residents receive the best possible person-centred care while also supporting and developing the staff here whilst maintaining a positive and supportive environment within the home.

My passion is shaped not only by my professional journey but also by my personal experiences, having supported and advocated for my parents who are profoundly deaf. This has given me a strong appreciation for communication, inclusion, and the importance of ensuring every individual feels heard, respected,  and valued.

I have lived on Walney Island my entire life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with family, friends and my two cats - Biscuit and Oreo and have a love for travelling, making the most of opportunities to explore and enjoy time away. Recently I have also found a new love for reading books.”
